Year 2 gets you wide and portrait primes, two most popular pro zooms, wide zoom, and a halo lens. Compare that to a superzoom, a video zoom I'm not sure how many people bought, another (good) wide prime, wide zoom, macro, expensive 35. It's not bad so far, and Nikon users will still have their own lenses to adapt to fill in the holes. The same couldn't necessarily be said about the horde* of Sony A-mount users.
