Just got my hands on my first film camera, pic related. It feels nice mechanically and the lens seems clean enough after getting the dust off the front. The only thing that feels a bit quirky is the light meter, which seems to slowly jerk towards where it's supposed to go if you pump the shutter button. Does anyone have experience with this model?
It was kind of funny, when I walked into a camera shop to get film and a fresh battery for it, there was this ancient fat man who couldn't stop talking about dynamic range and how film will always be better because there are "only 365 hues of color in digital". He then insisted I get 200 iso film instead of 400 for my first roll because "you young'uns always think higher is better".
