When I go down to f/2 the results are always very blurry even though I'm manually focusing to the shortest distance and then moving the camera close to achieve the closest possible shot. I'm carefully checking the focusing to get it right on the insect's head by using the red outline indicators but still very blurry on the targeted area compared to higher apertures.
