But when you know a bird's routine in and out, what may look like it "not reacting" to you, is a clear reaction to me. Because it breaks the pattern, or makes an extra wide turn. It doesn't fret, or care... but it reacts.
My main argument though, which I have to keep dragging your ass back to, is the main way you can tell when a bird sees you, regardless of it reacting or not: It's called being 30 feet from it with a 600mm / 800mm lens.
If you don't put the time in, you remain ignorant. You're a prime example.
