In this one I waited for a while for the singer to step backward a bit so I could get some neat backlight on him. But don't stay in the same spot for too long though, since all your shots will end up looking pretty similar if you don't change position. Move around from time to time and try to get different angles of all the band members.
Lastly, ask yourself what your intentions are. Do you want to capture the atmosphere and feeling in the venue? Make sure to get some good action moments as well as some crowd shots. Is it for promotional or journalistic purposes? Get some pictures where the band members' faces and/or instruments are clearly visible.
