>>4273421>the 20mp R6 was down to $1,100yes and the z6 with sorta shit AF was even cheaper than that. canon's prosumer FF bodies are just a bit more expensive on top of targeting a different use case. it's like nikon initially intended mirrorless to sit below their DSLRs. the zf implies this is changing, more expensive bodies with Z8 like features, so the z6iii(?) could be an honest r6iii competitor. maybe this will also pressure canon to upgrade the R8's successor with IBIS, like the R7 should be pressuring nikon to stop making super shit DX bodies.

*more than a canon R7
kekkerino. walmart's selling it for $1175.
>ignores EFEF-RF covers more older lenses than ftz, but there's an implicit "worth using over/vs native rf/z" that should be. from a rough survey of the lenses i'd like, f mount and ef mount are equal. maybe canon's fast 300mm is sharper, oh well.
now, being able to adapt another mirrorless mount (sony FE) is huge, any irrational hate you have for sony aside. nikon is the only brand that can do this. the etz21 has minor bugs with hot swapping and sharing one adapter between several bodies of different models, but how it is right now in operation is a major plus for lens shoppers. all it needs is a WR gasket.
maybe when canon starts licensing RF they'll allow an FE adapter to happen for the lulz.
>you debate the chartthis is just nonsense now. yes, the debate was about the validity of dpreview's website. they should test every camera with the same lens (everyone will use different lenses than the one tested anyways!) and use an open source raw processor.
it is an ok source for example raws to try editing yourself, but i wouldn't use their website to directly compare cameras after prodding just a little deeper. HOWEVER, their sample galleries have raws, which are better for this.
anyways, post you're photos, let's see em. i posted mine before.
