I have just received Big Ron in the mail today. The new Tamron 150-600 zoomer. Just took a few test shots of my curtains from across the room and am already impressed. I have previous experience with the Bigma (Sigma 150-500) and i'll say right away that this Tamron thing is an order of magnitude superior. Also, Tamron is hesitant to comment on the weather sealing and I see why. There are rubber gaskets but I'm guessing the extending part is not water tight.
Going out to find some animals tomorrow!
