/p/ is an interesting board because the vast majority of posters are creators, not just fans. While discussion on other boards such as /v/ or /mu/ can be quite aggressive, it's usually not as emotional as /p/, because critique aimed towards someone's own work elicits more negative emotions than critique aimed at something you're just a fan of.
