>>3678735Your post and OP made me look back at a National Geographic book I own from the year 2001 called 100 Best Pictures. The time range of the photographs went from the year 1920 to the year 2001. They all had technique and an artistic eye as expected but the real commonality is that they all had interesting subjects. Every photograph was a story. This got me thinking that good photographs are a balance of those three points, the art, the science, and the emotion/spirit.
