This is a gem of a camera but the availability of spare parts is what makes me doubtful that this will be a 'camera for life' for me. At any rate, I paid around £800 for it boxed with lens, so I am expecting that even if I have to sell it as spares I can get close to my investment and enjoy it while it lasts. The camera sits well in your hand, feels much like using a pro big-grip digital. The construction quality is sublime, except for the film advance, which is noted to have issues. I am currently getting it repaired by
http://www.gres.co.uk/gres.htm who are able to modify the film advance brake to make failure far less likely in future.
