I know this is basically just shilling but you guys all know how hard self promotion is in the world we are trying to make it in so here goes nothing.
Currently trying to make a Youtube channel, I know fuck me right, that I can use for whatever I want. Comedy shit, short films, episodic content. My current problem is that I have no fucking clue how to self promote without people shitting on me, I get self promotion isnt cool and whatever but fuck man what am I supposed to do?
My first video is a response to a video essay Fandor made called "Joaquin Phoenix Keep Rising". Its fucking trash and it actually pissed me off and inspired me to make a satirical video off of it critiquing it and video essay culture in general. Other than that does anyone have any self promotion advice? How to get out there and get my shit seen without absolutely cancering up my 'brand'?
