Any 40mm is only suitable for M6 and above (sloppy framelines) and the 35/1.4 Noktons suffer from major barrel distortion. I happily double the price and sacrifice a stop for a sharper and better corrected lens as the Biogon. Usually, I don't shoot wide open, but work with filters and push to compensate anyway.
