I just got my hands on this 35mm camera. It's a Zenit-E, with a Helios-44-2 2/58 lens.
I also ordered Kodacolor Plus 200 film for it. I have literally 0 experience in photography.
What's the difference between just setting my aperture to F16 and then just over-exposing from there with the second adjustment ring; and actually relying on just my aperture for exposure? Why even have the aperture ring with stops if I have a much larger exposure range with a smoother adjustment ring?
Also, why do I have to completely open up the exposure adjuster ring for focusing?
