The most I've spent of a film camera is around $200 total for that Canon P and 35mm f/2. Everything else here I've got for under $80, heck I pull that Ricoh Kr-5sv out of the rubbish bin at my Uni along with a few other 35mm bodies that I later sold on ebay. (inb4 durr that's where it belongs in a rubbish bin ecks dee).
You just need to know where to look.
