>>4381321So this is my third time doing astro on slide, and I doubled my exposure from a dslr to work out the light needed. Then I used a 1 stop darker exposure for the aurora in May, it turned out, so for this I added another half stop, and doubled the time, since I figured it wouldn't be that bright compared to may.
Reciprocity is weird for astro work on slide I've found, since the stars are moving the emulsion isn't being constantly exposed, the stars move etc. So the exposure math is basically f5.6-f8 for the stars, at ISO 100, and the stars will show up, and any tweaking or adjustment is just for foreground compensation
