pretty sure thats how it sparked some interest, at 14 i saved up and got a Sony HDR-cx560v, which could shoot stills, and i know that was the moment i knew photography was a thing i genuinely wanted to try.
heres a fucking photo of some back yard i took with it, back in the day i thought this was the epitome of "dramatic" editing, jesus christ kid, easy there on the fecal tones. This was all about 4-5 years before i ever picked up a ricoh
