I'm torn between getting a Nikon F to Canon EF adapter or a M42 to Canon EF adapter, eventually I'll get both but for now I can get only one.
Getting one for Nikon has the advantage that I can try my lenses on my uncle's Nikon when I visit him, but is there anything I should be aware of in particular?
Also how true is that one should adapters that are silver on the inside because they tend to amplify aberrations? I read a review on an online store where a guy claimed he "learned to buy black adapters the hard way" because of this issue.
