But I do have a number of Exakta lenses with push-lever-things that do the thing you're describing in-lens, if I am understanding what you're trying to say. There is no synching required, it is simply a matter of the activating-lever being literally in front of the shutter-release button. Also, I have eight Contarexes and have not taken one out yet because it is simply too good for me to use at the moment. I did take my Kiev RF out this morning and I think I hate it. I might even hate it a lot.
