Get out and shoot. Have some balls, have some gumption, talk to your friends and tell them "you would be perfect for (insert type of photography) hell I met my girlfriend on accident that way. Shit just happened.
OF and IG are strictly for clout chasing, popularity contests and revenue generation. No serious artists work there anymore, maybe a few do but most of it is just a high school popularity contest. Almost ever E-girl uses their phone because it takes pictures good enough to be viewed on a phone, and Americans are addicted to their phones like shits life support.
>>4347167This is also not a bad route. It's 2024, OF has taught women they can be paid millions to take pictures of their feet. Don't be afraid to pay them for their time. You can go through an agency, or pay them directly, women love that because they can get paid without the middle man.
>>4347149This is also correct. I bring my girlfriend on set as an "assistant" she just sits there and reads books. That is a huge confidence boost to whoever you're working with.
One other thing, if you're building a port, don't fill it full of women who all look the same, that tells prospective clients you have a type, and are in it to see boobs. Shoot men, shoot couples, shoot adults, shoot black girls and do all the commercial shit.
Primary objective number one is to set yourself apart from the thousands of men in their inbox having conversations with themselves trying to use their camera to get in their pants.
