>>3522221heres a rule of thumb you should always follow "a confident director makes a confident model" so i almost always get myself into the mood of the shoot as well
1) hype your model up, tell them how good they look, ask what their good angles are (if they dont have one, tell them what you think)
2) SHOW them how you want them to pose, its not only really helpful for a nervous model, it can be really funny and light hearted, which can help them relax
3) BE SPECIFIC, dont pull any "just feel natural" or "look scared" be as detailed as you can
