I see a lot of people recommending prime lenses and even cameras with fixed focal length and I was wondering why you’d limit yourself like this? The 35mm commonly used prime isn’t wide enough to capture a large scene but also not tight enough to get close in and isolate. Having a 18-5m zoom means you can take pretty much every type of everyday photography.
