I'm interested to know how many of you take photographs of liminal space.
"Liminal spaces are transitional or transformative spaces. They are the waiting areas between one point in time and space and the next. Often, when we are in liminal spaces, we have the feeling of just being on the verge of something. Liminal space is, of course, a literal space."
Empty corridors... the bend of an isolated staircase... an empty parking lot... the aisle of an empty supermarket... looking at the inside of a sweater as you pull it over your head... the track whizzing by outside of the train or the empty carriage... the place your mind goes as youre falling asleep... places where you know things usually happen... but not right now. You are outside of the normal reality. A place frozen in time. It feels comforting, briefly being in the void between stations. You know another place is coming, but you don't have to deal with it yet.
If you take photos that might be like that, post em here.
