honestly, even that's a bit of a meme. It's just something late teens/early 20s types tell themselves to justify the nagging urge to travel, which is most typically motivated by dissatisfaction with youth, the limitations of being a young adult surrounded by older adults that have known you since you were small, and angst
I've got plenty of photos that aren't from my local woods, of course, people just get the impression I only shoot locally because my threads are locally themed.
You see, to the late teens aspiring travel photographer, the thread being titled "pics of my vacation to Norway" is part of the process of inhabiting the soul of the creative wanderlust, not a desperate plea that the world recognize him as a traveled and fully mature young adult :^(
the irony is I think we were supposed to be on the road right now if not for mami 'rona. No idea where though, I just know there were fall dates.
