In previous years this particular con was taking place in private university, with lots of tree-rich outdoors areas but this time it was large trade exhibition building. When doing photos in situations like this, is there any good solution to shooting outside aside from approaching models and asking (either them or somebody else) for holding board reflector or similar accessory? There was little to no place with cover and Im still not confident in my own skills and myself to ask anyone to travel little way from main area. Lots of outside shots were done with these light conditions and you can see contrasting shadows on people faces, which I assume is not something desirable.
