I have a Rockinon 500mm F8. It was like $50 when I bought it. Be ready for several things: really touchy focus ring and paper thin DOF, cranking high ISOs if you are shooting anything other than a stationary object, the need for a rock solid tripod and live view, and zero sharpness whatsoever. I'll try to take some photos in the day, it was pretty dark when I just went out and snapped a quick pic of the stray cat that wanders near my house. As a note this was shot with a set of gitzo legs and a arca monoball so that is why it was able to be shot at sut a low shutter speed.
