>>4160232>How did DSLRs ever manage without telecentric designs. Look at all those lenses for sony, they don't even work. No one has ever cared about le baby mount outside of dpreview and /p/.They're near-telecentric by virtue of flange distance.
>Sony started out thinking that the A7* series would be sold to the same demographic as the cybershot series and styled the body something like a fuji, but lens sales are telling a different story. The top selling lenses for the A7 system are all HUGE and have been from the start. So sony is adapting to the customer base. If everyone is using a HUGE lens, you might as well give them a HUGE grip out of the gate to keep them buying your cameras. HUGE grips match up with HUGE lenses. Sony is also actively trying to drive customers down to their APS-C cameras. They're system cameras, of course they would have to accomodate big lenses. Otherwise what's the point? Imagine having to be limited to the reach of a 50mm.
>The A7C sold great, and sony had to discontinue it because it would have potentially made the A6600 unsellable while eliminating any justification for buying up to the "better" A7sThat's bullshit, the real reason is it cannibalized the higher end a7 sales with lower profit margins.
>No, that's their entire purpose, besides pinky realestate.Yeah I meant landscape, brain fart.
>85mm f1.8Already too large for the shitty grip.
>battery gripUseless for landscape.
>the only cameraThe only film system camera I own. I also have some point and shoots both film and digital and I have a full frame digital EF camera too. MLV-capable so you know it's not a 5D4.
>plastic film SLRAll the silver there is metal.
>>4160228Just like one can remove exif one can add it at will. All you want is my camera's serial number. You're all the same.
Here you go without exif though, 800mm f/13 1/400s 1600ISO
