>>3955412Level tool is a very smart touch in such setup. You do need to keep the frame level most of the time, the wider the lens the more important it becomes in avoiding perspective distortions. Then again that fixed framing screen does appear to be slightly restricting it's use. In cinema, when they shoot with spherical lenses for wide format, they don't always take the centre of the frame, but having the option of cropping, it's possible to frame for the top or bottom frame, and still contain perfect level. It can even be used creatively for inducing slight up or bottom tilt on a level scene.
