>>3815153I'd advise myself to start doing it more seriously, and start doing it earlier in my life.
>having memories of being a tiny shitter and having this disposable camera mom bought me for a school trip>memories of also being a tiny shitter and playing with zenith film slr, it had no film inside but i was taking walks and pretending to take photos with it>later in life, memories of playing with mom's digital compact, then getting first smartphone with amazing 5mpx camera that would actually allow you to have some DoF there, letting me make artsy ass newbie pics like pic related>all of those memories, all of this interest, never bothered to actually learn about basic of photographyI simply never considered it as a "serious" hobby of any sort. It kinda never occured to me that i could learn theory, get real camera, start developing my own style, learn how to pass through atmosphere, emotions, everything. I always liked photography, but i completely missed this fact. All of those good photos i could take in my life, wasted.
Then again, I'm not really regretting anything here. Guess that's how it went, there is no race, i haven't lost any grand prize, i'm happy with how my interest in /p/ stuff develops with time. Still, if i'd have to go back in time and give myself a /p/ advice, that would be it.
