Once you start cramping more megapixels, the size of individual pixels start becoming smaller, and it would seem this has an effect on how well the camera does tonality and color range, as evidenced from senscore, where it shows that the tonality is led by FF with low mp number, that is, bigger pixels than 36 or 50mp
