Surely the sky immediately around the sun must be 10, 20, 50, ??? stops brighter than the building which is in shade, yet both are reproduced. Metered for the building so it's in zone 4 or 5.
This is a crop from 35mm Fomapan 100 so hardly the latitude king.
Density of the negative is good so it's not like it's a major pull or anything. Though it probably does mean I'm not developing the extreme highlights to maximum density that I could.
