>>3232730Center sharpness is all that really matters at really wide apertures, and all the tests I've seen on these lenses show that they have it. Thin depth of field is for subject isolation, and the subject goes in the middle of the frame 99% of the time I'm doing that. If you need the edges a little sharper, you can just stop down the lens by one stop. It doesn't take much stopping down to get edge to edge sharpness on these lenses; however, I would consider the edge sharpness acceptable even for low light indoor shooting.
