Every film has a development recipie for rodinal. And it's great for semi stand development, which is the technique you heard about where you don't really touch it and the ISO doesn't matter. You do have to embrace the grain. Without getting into the specifics rodinal is like increasing the sharpness slider.
HC 110 is also a great developer. I have a bottle of that too. I would recommend that if you plan on shooting a lot of 400 iso speed film. Rodinal can make those pretty sandpapery
MF LF means medium format and large format.
If you can find a cheap 1:1 macro lens for your dslr. And a cheap Amazon light table you can ghetto rig a home scanning set up.
