Lately I've certainly been enjoy the feel of Portra, but that doesn't mean I won't want to use Velvia for sunrises down the road. This series is more about subtleties when it comes to contrast so for this work I certainly prefer Portra. Put me in the desert in front of a huge expanse of cracked earth and I'll probably reach for the Velvia.
