I took another picture of a beetle which I already posted... this is some kind of milk snake, I think. Unlike the beetle, I had to shoot this from a distance, since the snake was ready to climb into his tree if he got scared (and eventually he did). I had trouble getting a steady shot with good lighting; this shot has poor lightning but at least it's not as blurry. I really like the details of his scales but it's just not that vivid of a shot. I think it's very pretty though, I like the soft, earthy colors.
