How do you shoot manual faster?
I prefer to take my photos almost instantly after seeing the composition, and I also want to be able to change camera settings without compromising my grip on the camera. Aperture and focus are fine, but I find that trying to adjust shutter speed, as well as anytime I want to shoot vertical, is really cumbersome and slow.
I have recently been shooting by basically shutter priority; setting the shutter speed according to the aperture I think I want, and then adjusting aperture for correct exposure. (E.g., set the camera to 1/2000 if I want shallow depth of field)
Any other tricks to speed up operation?
