I read an interesting article about millennials today, and, it can be summed up that rather to blame them for for fucking up the world they were born into, they are just responding and adapting to being born into an already far-from-fucked world, workplace, etc. and that adaptation is what's warranting hatred and envy from other older generations [ie myself: age 10-12 in DC for 911, DC sniper, diving into politics, Afghan/Iraq Wars at a 13]. Self obsession is a manifestation of being forced into a mentality of always looking into improving ourselves to better our own working lives.
