>>3610078>XG minoltas go for really cheap. they're not as nice as the X-700 but still capable of taking great photos.The XG-9 is probably the most cost effective choice in the Minolta lineup and the only differences to the X-700 is that it isn't compatible with all the shiny accessories like the motor grip (but it can use a normal winder) and the command back, and that it lacks the P-mode which isn't really universally useful anyway.
The XG-1 is a bit limited as it lacks the DOF preview and doesn't display slow shutter speeds in the finder, but can also be found for dirt cheap. It was my first camera, so I still have a soft spot for it regardless.
The XG-M should be avoided, it's where Minolta let its QC lapse.
