is the a7 mark 2 for 860€ worth all the trade offs in comparison to the 3rd generation or should i at least get the r2 for 1350€?
>mark2: only 117 PDAF points->overall slower af, no continous eye af, single card slot, no af joystick, no touchscreen
>R mark 2: at least 399 PDAF points, continuos eye af, still only single card slot, no af joystick and no touchscreen
I currently use the D7200. rented the a7 mark 2 and autofocus felt siginificant slower and lack of af joystick was kind of annoying. Reliable eye-af would be very great.
My aps-c DSLR with OVF hinders me in a lot of things I'm trying to do. Shooting with various aspect ratios (no crop marks and cant just put lines on it), shooting wider lenses with at least a little bit of dof (crop), shooting manual lenses (focus peaking and adaptability), shooting with an anamorphic adapter (focus peaking), using mobile device as remote (expsoure in live view is always the same), having my camera much more with me (its large)...
Not sure if I should just go with a slightly "crippled" camera that a least lets me do all the things i want to do.
