Indoors, at dusk, or other low light situations, its just not really practical to shoot film. You can use a flash, but then you get that artificial flash look, and I'm not a fan of that. Events that demand faster shooting could be shot on 35mm, but you'd have to shoot half a dozen rolls at least to document the day, and forget about it at night. My d610 works all the time and takes objectively better photos all of the time, but I do love film. It just doesn't make sense in a lot of settings.
