I would make $20 a show for the paper. shit sucked but it was a slight incentive. now I shoot residency for a venue and make minimum wage but it allows me to work less at my other job which is sorta sick.
not sure what artist rates are quite yet but my good friend told me to expect somewhere around $200 a night from a medium-large artist. I was chatting this guy from bonnaroo and he was making $800 from a DJ that wasn't even super well known. that's the goal.
