I posted my Instagram a while back and did connect with some other really talented shooters and we discussed this a little. Back then the pictures I saw were more diverse and many of their approaches challenged mines in terms of how to shoot and composit. You were able to learn many things, but now majority of "criticism" just falls into the realm of "I don't like your style it is wrong, there is only 1 object way to photograph this". Because of that toxic mentality you don't get a whole lot of variety anymore. It hurts the beginners and more experienced shooters alike. That's my 2 cents anyways - cheers!
