so I plan on shooting a (short test) film in the next couple weeks; the purpose is so I can figure out a good workflow and all that stuff for when I work on a longer film. I'll be using an EOS DSLR. I either want to record in the Neutral, Technicolor, or Kodachrome cinestyle.
What my intention is, is to put the clips I know I am going to use into after effects, upscale them to 2K, balance the levels, clean up a few things here and there (i.e. rolling shutter, noise, etc.) and export them to an intermediate codec. Is this the way to go about things?
I will be editing in premiere, but the intermediate codec I am planning on using is DNxHR or DNxHD, as I have those codecs, but not ProRes (I use Windows). I know it's possible to get the ProRes codec on Windows by doing a bunch of things, do any of you anons have a guide out there for doing that?
Thanks
