Fuji Fronter SP-500 and SP-3000 scanners I use at work can't achieve this even with the magnification maxxed out, I just start to get the white borders instead. And the Epson V600 I have at home is a bitch to use if I don't place the 35mm mask on it which cuts off the rebate entirely.
