Today, linux is the least secure, least stable, least well maintained operating system on earth and is a constant headache for the entire tech industry due to staggeringly low quality of components developed by GNU, redhat, and half-competent hobbyists. In addition to this, linux users voluntarily cripple themselves and leave their own hardware nonfunctional "because the drivers arent free as in marx!".
Darktable continues this trend with poor performance (the best libraries are NOT FREE NUFF), missing support for hundreds of cameras and lenses, and clutter made up of literal piles of deprecated and broken modules none of which are documented any better than the 0-empathy apsergers case with his half-functional mirror neurons thought necessary (after all, his spaghetti code was well commented, in indian). If you simply spend 30 minutes at work, you can learn to use adobe suite instead and not only get more done faster, but also, and I know "free" software users hate to hear this
