>>4130478>I don't know what net/netto and gross/brutto meansShipping/Delivery fees, tooling, materials, labor, bills and other overhead costs, marketing and so on and so forth... That's all deducted when calculating net profit.. That's what NET/NETTO profit means. Calculating profit margin for XYZ product takes all of that into account. E.g If Apples manufacturing costs are +/-200 USD per iPhone and they make 1,300 USD per sold iPhone, that's pure NET profit of 450% or 300% to 350% if their product is sold through a 2nd/3rd party store, as that store takes away a small cut.
Now that's just Apple alone - one of the greediest, most shameless companies next to Leica and the likes... For reference, Hasselblad and PhaseOne cameras may cost significantly more, being priced at 40-50k but the profit margin for these cameras actually rather low, being 4 times lower than Apples average profit margin or 10 to-15 times lower than Leicas profit margin, speculated to be anywhere from only 105% to 140% - which is really miserable in a world where the average profit margin per product in tech industry is around 220%... (Apple sits around 400-450%, Leica is in the thousands, Canon, Sony and Nikon are in the 300-350% range, Fuji is in the 250-300% range and so on and so forth...) Camera manufacturers are really pushing it.
However, you should see Automotive industry or maybe dental/surgical equipment and tools... That shit sells for like 99999999999999999999999999% of manufacturing costs.
>>4130482>oh you're the 3d pop schizo????
>the reason pros use hasdy and phase is the price (keeps the little guy out)Literally the opposite. Nobody I know and nobody I ever met (fashion n beauty industry) cares about the brand, status or pricing of their cameras. They are just chasing perfection and only Hasselblad and PhaseOne are offering perfection. That's all there is to it. It's not that deep. Relax.
