Oh boy, the results with this setup. Cool. Pictured here is the scan, taken at ~f/5 and 1/30 second, next to a shot of the light source on its own.
It's inverted obviously, as its a negative, so I guess the darker areas are reflections? I can't figure out if the culprit here is the scanning mask or the lens.
