>>4355350>The 20mm f1.4 (overpriced and optically bad at everything but sharpness) and 12-45 f4 (f8 all the time) are as small as it getsThat's the pretty standard size for Olympus M43 stuff, no? At least half the lenses in the system, not just the ones worth having, are close in size; the Goldilocks 'just right' 12-40 is on par with the plastic majestic 40-150 4-5.6 as is the 20 1.4, the other Pro standard primes and zooms are also pretty close. It's only stuff like the 12-100 that become extra-girthy, or the boat anchor 40-150 2.8. You're right that there's a lack of weather resistant options in the non-pro range (the only two I can think of offhand are the decent 14-150 II and the less than decent old 12-50) and it's pathetic that they never re-released the small 1.8 primes to be at least splash resistant like the Pana Leica 9/12/25s, but it's a little late in the Olympus OM Systems™ lifetime to still wish for that. Plus I'd still trust 'plastic bag over camera' more than pretty much any combination of camera and lens that claims weather sealing- my original worry was about lens size and weight versus the camera.
