At the end of the day, cheaper lenses will get 90% of the way there compared to pro lenses. Also, I know you want a 50, but the 40mm f2 z-mount is a bargain. I'd do either that or get the ftz adapter and grab the f mount 50mm f1.8. The autofocus on the native z-mount will probably perform better though, I'd look into it. Pic related in ausfag prices. The EOS RP and the 50 can be had with enough room for the 16mm wide as well for the same price as the nikon and either of those options, but, the nikon is superior. I'd give it a week to consider if youre not in a hurry. Start binging reviews and take all the pros and cons on board. Nothing worse than rushing a decision on something youre going to be stuck with for the foreseeable future.
