>>3834442Why would you recommend against AF lock? I've not really tested to see how it focuses, and I don't really understand auto focusing in general. Its something like split centre weighted or something, which I imagine means it focuses on the middle of the shot? I tend to try and frame things a bit off centre, I rarely shoot things up close, so I was assuming I'd be using the AF lock quite a bit! Is it 'smart' enough to focus smoothly on things in the foreground if they're off to the side? Also just as a seperate question since I don't want to make a seperate post, do you know how well film stores inside a camera? I really want to load a roll of film, but I can't imagine I'd fill it within like, a month or two as I'm still in lockdown. Would it be bad to leave it in there for that long?
