The other book I have read (honestly for free as a display item at a bookstore here) is Ost/West Berlin by Nelly Rau-Häring. The book gives perspective into the life and the "atmosphere", if you will, of the divided Berlin, both the east and west side.
I'm also on the fence of buying Rinko Kawauchi's "Illuminance" , which is available at a bookstore for 80 whooping dollars and/or Magnum Photos' "Magnum Contact Sheets".
I have seen Kawauchi's work multiple times such as "Halo", "Ametsuchi, "Utatane" and "As it is". The photos, usually of innocuous things, have this airy, dreamlike character to them.
